Instructional design, also referred to as Instructional Systems Design, is the practice of systematically assessing, designing, developing and delivering instructional products and experiences, both digital and physical, in a consistent and reliable manner, towards an efficient, effective, appealing, engaging and motivational acquisition of knowledge.
The process consists generally of establishing the state and needs of the “student”, defining the end goal of instruction, and creating some “intervention” to assist in the transition.
The Instructional Design operating model that we, at the GSC Academy use, is based on the five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
Our e-learning Instructional Design platforms are customized explicitly, to meet the needs of our Clients.
The back-bone of the GSC Academy is our knowledge and experience from being deployed in live operations and assignments. Hence, every course we design is based upon our past hands-on involvement and expert know-how coupled with real-life understanding.
Our Instructional Design customized courses, focus on safety and security, geared exactly towards the Client’s requirements. In so doing, our GSC Academy brings to the industry a level of training and preparation that sets the security accreditation standards for safety and security professionals, wherever they are located around the world.
In our world of safety and security, there are no second chances – hence our courses are designed with that exact focus : no second chances!
